asfs - program for manage shaper and firewall rules.
SYNOPSIS
asfs [-f] [-s] [-l] [-c CFGFILE] [-h] [--version] start|stop|restart|status
DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the asfs command.
asfs is a frontend for tc and iptables. Allows you to customize the configuration of the flow of transit traffic through the editing of configura-
tion files.
OPTIONS
These programs follow the usual GNU command line syntax, with long options starting with two dashes (`-'). A summary of options is included
below. For a complete description, see the Info files.
-f, --fwonly
Create rules only for firewall (based on iptables). If this option is active, you should not use the -s option.
-s, --sponly
Create rules only for shaper (based on tc). But rules for the shaper is used marking means iptables. If this option is active, you should
not use the -f option.
-l, --onlylist
All rules will only be printed to standard output. No action will be made.
-c CFGFILE, --config=CFGFILE
Path to configuration file. If this option is not specified will be used /etc/asfs/settings.cfg
-h, --help
Show summary of options.
--version
Show version of program.
COMMANDS
start Create rules for action start. For shaper is creating classes, qdisk and filters for interfaces specified in config files. Also is creating
marking means iptables for the distribution of filters. For firewall is creating rules for elements specified in config files.
stop Create rules for action stop. For shaper is deleting classes, qdisk and filters for all interfaces. For firewall is deleting all rules
means by iptables.
restart
This command perform action stop then action start.
status For shaper this command output detailed information about classes, qdisk and filters. For firewall this command output detailed information
about creating rules.
FILES
/etc/asfs/settings.cfg
The main configuration file. You must initially make changes to this file for asfs to work.
/etc/asfs/tables.cfg
This configuration file contains a table with settings for different types of strips of traffic. The path to the file defined in
/etc/asfs/settings.cfg
/etc/asfs/scripts/custom_fw_rules.sh
This script execute after all firewall rules. You may add custom rules in this file. If you want add rules before use -I action.
